Amazing insight into real Delhi, our guide was fantastic

I had such a fantastic tour with Kanika, and I highly recommend it to all who want to experience a slice of Old Delhi with an experienced guide! I cannot recommend this tour enough if you want a true Old Delhi experience. I know I would have been very overwhelmed if I had been exploring by myself; it’s definitely a place where a helping hand is welcomed! Book this tour!

Tourguide Mona Madhvendar is a good guide, very interested in making you feel safe all the time. He tells alot about old delhis history. Great first touch with the chaotic old city.

A visit to Delhi is not complete without a walking tour through Old Delhi. Tour was well organised and our guide Deepak amazing making sure we experience everything that Old Delhi has to offer from history to culinary delights.

I would have preferred a tour with less ground covered and more informative. I think trying to fit in too much. A bit expensive in comparison to rest of India but maybe that it big city living. I would recommend it. Guide was very pleasant.

Worth revisiting cultural heritage sites and getting a taste of local specialities which may be on the spicier side for many. This is a very crowded part of Delhi and is full of life centuries after it was the centre of power in India. There is so much variety and history to absorb: only don’t let the strange aromas and the occasional dirt deter you. After all where else can one get so much of everything packed inside a 3 hour walking tour. Objectively speaking there are just 4 great cities in the world that can give you such an experience: Rome, Istanbul, Paris, and Delhi. No other city can.

Our guide was on time to meet us at the Metro Station. He was courteous and polite. We asked him plenty of questions about India which he replied to thoughtfully. He was patient whilst we made a longer than expected stop at the Sikh Gurdwara. He showed us the local highlights and explained the history of Old Delhi very well. As a first introduction to this chaotic part of Delhi I would suggest an early morning guide. It is not too busy and you can watch Old Delhi come to life.

What an experience to kick off our 4 weeks travel through India and up until the last day, we compared every situation to those first steps through Old Delhi. Let me put it like this, without a walking tour through Old Delhi, you have not really experienced India, kind of like, not having visited the Taj Mahal. We were picked up by our local guide on time from the hotel and then took the metro into the center of Old Delhi. He is very open minded and knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. The 4 hour flew by and we were amazed by the colors, people, smells, cows...and our guide made us feel comfortable at any point of time.

This tour is perfect for solo travellers that want an introduction to Old Delhi. I loved that Deepak met me at my hotel and helped me navigate public transport into the heart of the city. It can be difficult to hear over the noise of the traffic but all the sights are great and the little snack of samosas and lassi was perfect.

it was good but very expensive for what was offered.the guide was very nice, careful with me, very correct and attentive to my needs and wishes but lacked that extra bit of knowledge that would have made the tour really special .

Really a great experience. Agency arranged for us taxi pick-up since we were living outside of Delhi, they drove us to our meeting point with our tour-guide who was a vary nice local Indian guy. He guided us through multiple old delhi streets, told us a lot about local life and history, arranged for us rickshaw and tuck-tuck rides - really really good trip!

I had a tour through Old Delhi. My guide (Rishi) has extensive knowledge of the place and of the history if India plus a knack for languages. Recommended if your goal is to learn more about India.

I have been to India several times however I was not anticipating such an intense experience with the Old City of Delhi. The tour was professional and I knew I was in good hands. The information was great, he was patient with me because I was feeling a bit of anxiety and claustrophobia. We had many good laughs and it was actually alot of fun. The tour was billed and advertised as 3 hours but the travel time to and from hotel and on the metro ended up being over 5 hours, so if you are in a time crunch you should consider that.

The sight, sound and smell for this walk were overpowering. The guide did not provide much commentary; not providing good guide service.

Old Delhi is an extremely busy and bustling place. Our guide explained our surroundings and the sites we visited very well. He gave us the time we needed and understood our struggle with the heat. He managed the tour very including all the different types of transport. Highly recommended.

What a great introduction to Dehli. Our guide, Deepak was punctual, courteous and incredibly informative. He took so much time and effort to teach us how to use the metro, taste local fare and showed in depth knowledge about everything. Couldn't have asked for more!

This tour really takes you into the heart of Old Delhi and gets you in touch with the workings of everyday life there. I really enjoyed the tour and getting in the middle of everything. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. I guess the only complaint that I could make is that sometimes it was really hard to hear the guide because of the absolute chaos that is Old Delhi (horns honking, difficult to find a place to stop and talk without getting run into by other people (or vehicles); but then again all of that is really a part of the Old Delhi experience, so I'm not sure it is actually possible to have it both ways. Certainly recommend the tour for anyone who wants to really see the area of Old Delhi.

The Tour was amazing, but more amazing was the guide we had! He helped us to get one of the most extraordinary experiences in India! Please give him a reward- he deserves it!! :) (unfortunately I forgot his name, but I'm sure you guys keep record about it)

The walk is excellent. Old Delhi is full of history and the places selected are a great representation of the past and present of Delhi. I want to thanks my guide for its dedication and patience. Not easy for an India first timer to understand the whys and hows of such different culture.

I only had 2 days to spend in Delhi. It was my first time in India and I wanted to get a taste of the culture. I know Delhi is a very dangerous city for women especially at night so I wanted to be sure I did a guided tour. This hit the bullseye. My guide, Deepak, was kind, patient, and informative. We covered a lot of ground in just 3 hours and he taught me how to get back to my hotel SAFELY on the metro. It was a quick but total immersion into Indian culture. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend Deepak highly!

The tour was truly fantastic, we can highly recommend it. We took a short TukTuk trip to the nearest metro station and headed towards old Delhi by metro. Firstly visited India's largest mosque, walked through Old Delhi's narrow streets where we could get a really good insight of its daily live. Had a very delicious snack at an authentic street kitchen, visited a Sikh temple and its community kitchen and finished with the spice market. What an amazing experience!!

Enjoyed every minute of this Mr Toads Wild ride in the dance of chaos in middle of Delhi the most crowded colorful noisy city I've been in. I would strongly recommend For a first second or third time in Delhi.

Suraj proved to be an excellent guide and we had a brilliant day despite the fact that I had inadvertently booked the walk for another day! He was very patient and took us to a great variety of places. It was a really good way of seeing Old Delhi and I'd highly recommend it.

I had one free day before I began a tour in Delhi. I wanted to see Old Delhi and this was perfect!! Fantastic guide, great places visited and we shared a nice lunch together which is included in the price. Would definitely recommend.

Got to see the heart of Delhi, visited a temple and learned about Indian culture, made a new local friend who let me use is phone when we got separated. Over all a good time, guide was polite and helpful, just make sure you have a plan to meet up since the markets can get busy. Fun time.

Exploring Old Delhi is definitely best done with a local guide and this tour offered such a unique and local perspective that I would easily recommended it to everyone.

I enjoyed walking in Delhi...learning about the area, observing the people, seeing the temples, enjoying the food and the use of different modes of transportation. The guide was very informative and I appreciated his patience and he was open to answering any questions I might have.

we had short time when visiting a Delhi, so decided to take a quick tour and so glad we did. Our tour quite Suraj was excellent in a short time we did and discovered a lot and he even dropped us at airport for our flight. Also we took the tour on Diwali festival day and can't imagine more perfect day for it. Highly recommended.

An interesting tour ! Walking around in the old city is really a must when you come to Delhi . It is very crowdy and I would not do it without a guide ,but with our guide we felt safe. We have been to the spice market which was really amazing ! We also had the possibility to try some street food ,which was really tasty. We also had time to visit a sikh temple ,which was a nice surpise .So it was a short tour but interesting and good planned.

Best Tour I have ever had. Absolutely outstanding. Like a dive into the locals life. You have to be prepared that you do not only see nice, touristic places.... Absolutely recommendable. I will recommend my friends. Guide was absolutely reliable and trustworthy.

I have done this kind of tour quite a few times but this was the best: nice pace and information, well-priced, good mix of experiences and very flexible guide. Overall, excellent.
