Full Day Private tour of Mysore from Bangalore with pick up and drop-off

We had an excellent one-day guided tour to Mysore. Our guide, Mr. Shiva, was exceptionally attentive to our needs and proved to be a true treasure of knowledge, providing insightful information throughout the day. He also took us to a traditional local restaurant, where we enjoyed an authentic meal. The driver, also named Mr. Shiva, demonstrated outstanding driving skills and ensured a comfortable and safe journey. Overall, the tour was perfectly organized and highly enjoyable. We strongly recommend this experience.

We had a great time today seeing the highlights around Mysuru. We were taken on whirlwind adventure by Shivn, a Mysuru local. The tour guide , Shiva was awesome. He took lot of time and effort to explain each and every detail about the monuments we visited. He took great pictures for our family at all the spots. He guided us to authentic South Indian food place which was clean and hygiene and cost effective. He also took us to do local shopping for Mysore Pak and Mysore Silk Sarees. Will recommend Shiva as a guide for Mysore trip to everyone Also, we got a very good driver , Shiv Kumar. He was very nice and drove with patience and made sure we had a comfortable ride. The car was maintained very well and had basic stuff like sanitizer, wet wipes, tissue paper etc. I would recommend Shiv Kumar as your driver for every trip.

Shiva did a great job guiding me around. He was full of passion for all the sights and gave me all the time I wanted to enjoy the places. He gave great and interesting explanations and advice as well and told me a lot about life and culture in Southern India. He is a skilled and patient photographer and assisted me in taking pictures wherever I wanted. I had lunch with him and he explained all the delicacies to me. Such a great day. Shiva was humble and polite and never tried to get me involved into shopping which I highly appreciated. 5 star rating well deserved.

Shiva is a good tour guide. His explanations are very detailed and professional. I am satisfied with his service. But the price is a bit expensive.

Shiva was very informative, interesting and clear in his speech. He displayed lots of flexibility and even went out of his was to take us for a fabulous South Indian lunch. Highly recommend Shiva for a trip around Mysore!

The guide was very informative and helped give the historical and cultural context. The palaces and temples very visually amazing. The lunch was delicious, and we even had an impromptu visit to the city market which had many good smells and sights. Definitely worth a quick day trip from Bangalore

Packed day out. Shiva is a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable without overwhelming us with info, a great photographer, spotter of great photo angles and able to accommodate requests for ATM stops etc. Feel like we got a really good sense of Mysore and it’s history and culture.

Great tour! Shiva, our tour guide was fantastic! Mysore is a beautiful city with lots of culture and history! Especially enjoyed the Tipu Summer Palace and eating authentic southern Indian cuisine for lunch.

My colleague and I have had a very beautiful day together with Shiva as our guide. We visited Mysore Palace, the summer castle and the temple at the hill. Shiva was very knowledgeable and it was an excellent pleasure to walk around and hear all the stories of the Raja’s and the Raina’s If you get the time to visit Mysore it can definitely be recommended to use Shiva and he’s company for this

Chiva is the best guide ever and Chivu is a great driver! Both are friendly, polite and patient. they took us to the best places and we had the best time.

We were only able to spend one day in Mysore and Shiva allowed us to make the most of it. He is very knowledgable and made the day super fun. He was also super patient with all of our questions, and provided great answers. It was a truly unique first experience of India! Our driver Jaheer was also wonderful, very prompt and navigated the traffic like a pro. This tour comes highly recommended!

This was an excellent, well planned and scenic tour of Mysore with informative guide and driver. The day started off with a hotel pick up that was on time and a friendly and professional driver Shivu, who tried to explain things in English as we went along. It is 2-3 hrs to Mysore but the new motorway is open which really makes it more comfortable once out of Bangalore. We met the guide at the Summer Palace and started the sightseeing of the trip. The driver and guide were very good at what they do. The guide spoke good English and knew the history very well. This was a relaxing day of sightseeing with a very enjoyable local lunch at a good restaurant served on a banana leaf. I would recommend this tour.

I‘ve enjoyed the trip with Shiva so much. He is very respectful and has a great knowledge about his city Mysore. He has a very good feeling how to treat foreigners and he asked us if we want to go buy silk and sandelwood pieces (not forced to go go there!). The driver Shivu was very kind as well and drove savely :-) The lunch was very delicious as well. All in all - a very nice day and I would definitely recommend this trip with Shiva and Shivu :-)

The tour was very good, the pick-up at the hotel was on-time and the guide shared his knowledge in a clearly manner. Mysore is a city worth visiting.

I would recommend this tour - it's a long journey but worth it. All elements taken care of, transport, lunch, breaks & dealing with pushy locals. A tiring day but you should see Mysore if you can.
