Description

Relish your time with nature on this unwinding morning trip. You will depart from your Siem Reap hotel at 8:30 AM to Phnom Kulen National Park. On the way, you’ll enjoy the incredible views from your window. On the 2 hours long ride, you'll see the River of a Thousand Lingas also known as 'Kbal Spean' by the locals. The river has marvelously carved river beds shaped like Linga or Lingam, symbolizing the mighty Hindu god Lord Shiva. You can also see motifs of various other gods from Hindu mythology such as Brahma, Vishnu, Lakshmi, and Hanuman, and get their blessings.

After Thousand Lingas, you will get to see the 8-meter-long golden statue of the Grand Reclining Buddha, Cambodia's longest reclining Buddha statue. Learn from your guide. The guide will keep pouring knowledge about all the landmarks on the journey.

After arrival, you'll explore the deep jungles of the Phnom Kulen mountains and their magnificent ancient temples, rivers, and culture with the guide. Phnom Kulen is a sacred place dedicated to the god Indra. It also holds some historical relevance since it is the region where the foundation of the Khmer Empire took place at the hands of King Jayavarman II in the 9th century.

Finally, you get to be at the Phnom Kulen waterfall. You can admire its beauty and also plunge into the cool water. After a fun as well as refreshing experience at the waterfall, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Siem Reap. This concludes the end of your tour.
