Description
Refresh in the charming yet romantic sunset with your loved ones. Our expert guide will pick you up from your hotel at 3:30. You will be taken to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Cambodia and all of Southeast Asia. The ride will take you 15 km outside Siem Reap. Along the way, the guide will tell you about your surroundings. Learn about the culture, traditions, and daily lives of locals in the area.
You'll pass by rice paddies. You can see how rice is grown in the Cambodian landscape. Then visit the local lotus fields and get some pictures clicked with beautiful lotus flowers. Do note that the view of both rice paddies and lotus fields highly depends on the weather conditions at the time of visit.
After reaching the Tonle Sap, you'll board the Mini Tara boat. It's going to take you to the Crocodile & Fish farm run by locals. There you learn about the locals' means of business and trade practices. Enjoy the exotic wildlife and nature on your water ride. Get souvenirs, gifts and also pictures done for remembrances.
Next, we will head toward the popular and amazing Tonle Sap floating village comprising homes, restaurants, police stations, basketball courts, churches, shops, and a market. You get to drive through the village. Go for a chit-chat with the local communities.
Then onboard the Queen Tara boat, the biggest riverboat on the lake. Sail to the heart of the floating village. At heart, you get to relish delicious buffet food along with drinks all free by Queen Tara. About this time, sunset will be happening. Lift your spirit in the magnificent twilight and nature surrounding you. With the fading sunset rays, you will be escorted back to your hotel or guesthouse by the guide. Around 7:30 you will be back at your place of stay. Sweet memories await you for sure.
